curl_easy_reset

Syntax

void curl_easy_reset(CURL *handle );

Parameters

handle Handle to a curl session.

Return Values

None.

Description

Reinitializes all options previously set on a specified CURL handle to the default values. This puts back the handle to the same state as it was in when it was created with curl_easy_init.

The following information, kept in the handle, is not changed: live connections, Session ID cache, DNS cache, cookies, and shares.

NOTE:
Cafe libcurl automatically applies system proxy settings on the CURL easy handle when curl_easy_reset is called. For more information, see Proxy Settings.
