OSFatal

Syntax

#include <cafe/os.h>

void OSFatal(const char* msg);

Parameters

msg Pointer to the null-terminated string.

Return Values

None.

Description

The OSFatal function immediately stops the running program and displays the specified message msg in white text message on a black background on the TV and DRC.

NOTE:
During development, the system often starts an application directly, without a HOME Button menu. In this case, the system takes about 2 seconds to initialize the TV. If OSFatal is called during those 2 seconds, then the TV initialization stops, and no message appears there. The message does appear on the GamePad.

On production systems, the HOME Button menu always starts an application, and the TV will have been initialized.
