Floating-point calculations using paired-single (PS) floating-point operations are not guaranteed to be IEEE compliant.
If an IEEE mode thread calls a function or library that uses PS floating-point operations, the calculations cannot be guaranteed to be IEEE compliant.
The GHS cross-platform tool chain uses IEEE mode floating-point operations during the compile process. Compiler optimizations such as
constant propagation or constant folding will use IEEE mode results, irregardless of the thread's mode.
